Seasonal Math Activities

There are many websites offering Christmas-themed worksheets, colouring pages, and free printables, but it is a little more difficult to find some seasonal activities that are not just pencil-to-paper tasks. Here are a few of them:

http://mathwire.com/seasonal/winter05.html

This is a collection of activities which includes Koch Snowflake, Penguin Math, Snowflake Activities, Snowman Problem Solving, Literature Connections (activities based on The Fattest, Tallest, Biggest Snowman Ever by Bettina Ling), Winter Glyphs, Winter Data Collection, Gingerbread Math Activities, Winter Coordinate Graphing, Holiday Problem Solving and samples of student work. These activities are most suitable for elementary students.
